Being a part of a long line of fitness and nutrition experts, and winning 4 state championship ice hockey rings training is far from new to me. Since the age 8 I have been trained and worked out with some of the most influential and knowledgeable trainers this country has to offer. Aside from working with some of the best, I am also a Certified Personal Trainer myself. So my time at the gym is never wasted and I tend to know what I am doing. In late December I was asked to model for a designer denim company shirtless and personally I didn't feel my body would be worth showing off come mid January for the shoot. This is when knowing Anthony became more then worth it. I quickly gave him a call and within a few minutes I was more than confident that Anthony’s overwhelming knowledge of what I would have to do for the next couple of months would work. He began by asking me my measurements and body fat percentages. Within hours I received an email that had a fully built diet and exercise plan with details that far exceeded mine and most other trainers knowledge. After scheduling out his rigorous workout plans and diet guidelines I started the routine and within 2 weeks I couldn’t believe what I was beginning to see. Anthony introduced me to a completely different way of training. After just 20 minutes, I used muscles that I hadn’t worked out much and I was sore for a few days afterwards (even though I had a trainer prior to Anthony). He listened to me when I told him what my goals were and he’s been a great support system in helping me to reach them.

He created a custom diet that worked for me. When I found it difficult to stick to a particular part of the diet, he supplemented food so that I would be able to continue to follow it. He taught me how to control what I ate and how much of it, without feeling like I was missing out or depriving myself.

One of the most important aspects of training with Anthony for me has been the emotional support. When I’m feeling weak or just down about myself and I email him, I always receive an email back from him giving me the boost I need. He is always positive and supportive. I know I could not have come this far without that part of his training.

He has now been training me for about 4 months and I have learned more in that time than I thought possible. When we work one on one together, he takes his time with me making sure I understand what we are doing. He pushes me beyond the limits I have always hid behind, opening my eyes to new exercises and new ways to step up my workouts.

Over the past couple of months Anthony has helped me in so many ways not only physically but mentally as well. The main reason I started training with him is because I play softball for various teams and in order to benefit myself as well as my teammates I felt it was the right thing to do. He has pushed me to never give up no matter how hard it was going to be. Most of the time I dread going to the gym, but I can honestly say I look forward to going because I know I will be working with him. I know Anthony cares about me as a person because if he didn’t he wouldn’t do what he does for me. I feel he wants me to succeed in softball because he always encourages me more and more. For example, he’ll say focus on your stomach because it’s important in softball. The reason for this is because after those games I never have done that well in a tournament and have gotten my batting average so high. Bodybuilding is a very competitive sport. I’ve been enjoying the sport for almost four years. Not only have I been competing in bodybuilding but also I’ve always had that extra push. That extra push is also known as Anthony Bevilacqua. Anthony has been my trainer and role model from day one. When I first starting this hobby I weighted in at 235lbs of pure fat. I started working out knowing absolutely nothing. One day I met Anthony in the gym not knowing he was a trainer, just a member like me working out. From 1993 until 1998 I was a personal trainer. I was in my best shape possible, weighing 125 and my body fat was 17%. Over the years, I had really let myself go and lost motivation. I joined a gym in 2003. When I got back into it, I was 140 and my body fat was 25%. Over the last 3 years, I felt like I could not lose anything. My workouts were boring and it felt like a never ending routine. I really didn't enjoy the gym anymore. A few months ago, my gym hired new personal trainers, Anthony was one of them. I watched him train a few members. I was impressed how positive and knowledgeable he really was. At first, I thought, "why do I need a trainer? I used to do that and I know what I am doing" but I realized there are so many new ways to tone and lose weight. I decided to give Anthony a try. I am SO glad I did! He has motivated me and showed me how to enjoy my workouts again. Don't get me wrong, he is tough but that is exactly what I need. He is very serious about his workouts but at the same time makes me feel comfortable each time we are together. I am now 128 pounds and my body fat is down to 22% which is within normal range for a woman my age. We were able to get my body fat down almost 3% in one month! That is very hard to do. We are still working toward my goal of 19% body fat. I can't give Anthony enough praise! I am one of his biggest fans!

It was shoulders and abs day and my gym membership at Bally Total Fitness was expired! I know I want to get big and I can't miss the workout, so I headed out to Gold's Gym to be a guest for one day.

I started warming up with my usual pull-ups and crunches then I hit the military press. Looking at myself in the mirror I haven't achieved much gain in the past 8-10 months that I've been working out. "Ahh, whatever...it'll come" I said to myself, and lifted up the weight to my shoulders and started my work out. In the 2nd set my right shoulder began to give out slightly so I stopped and picked up my stuff and I was about to leave, when Anthony Bevilacqua saw me and said "do me a favor buddy, just try one more time." So i looked at him thinking this guy was crazy and said "Nah bro thanks my shoulder is aching," He explained to me that my shoulder wasn't aching and he was gonna be by my side to help me with the set because my form was a little bit wrong. So i got frustrated and said what you mean my form is wrong do you know who your talking to. Haha, it was embarrassing, I finally agreed and he showed me the right form, it took me a couple of times, and remarkably my shoulder wasn't aching anymore, MY FORM WAS WRONG!

Anthony then told me he works at the gym and told me about his career as a Personal Trainer. I was amazed, why would someone just like to help people like that, especially since he is a personal trainer wouldn't he rather get paid then just help me for free? This guy wasn't like any other in his field, As I said I was a member of Bally's and a couple of other gym's as well and this is the first time I've stumbled across a man with his character. So on the day Anthony helped me out he asked me to come in one more time so he can show me a few pointers so I said okay, and without hesitation I signed up to the gym and I came back the next day to find myself hiring Anthony as my trainer. In the 6 months I've trained with Anthony I found that my gains were spectacular and I am even happier with the way I look now. Before I had a skinny boyish looking physique, but now I am confident enough to say that with continual support from Anthony I've gained a manly muscular physique.

I can't believe that I am already getting the privilege to write a testimony for Anthony Bevilacqua. I have only know him less than 2 months and have been actively training with him for just 1 month. I remember talking to him for the first time and he was telling me about his diet and training methods, and he asked me to read over his website and read his past client testimonies. I did just that and remember thinking "sure his other clients found success with him - but I won't". Not that I was not determined to make big changes, it was more that I thought I had already tried EVERYTHING there was to try without satisfaction. I thought of every reason why this would not work for me - It could be my age, thinking it was my metabolism slowing down. I thought of excuses like - it could be the SSRI medications I have been taking. I was told by numerous doctors that these meds cause weight gain and it is something that I should accept because the benefits of the meds (for me personally) outweigh the negative side effects of weight gain.

Well I kept an open mind to Anthony's knowledge and confidence that I could succeed. He warned me that the diet is a major KEY with someone who has a lot of excess body fat. He told me that it was not going to be easy and that it takes a lot of preparing ahead to stick to the diet and eat small frequent meals to stabilize blood sugar all day long. That was one of my biggest problems - EXTREME HUNGER, that all ended when he e-mailed my diet. I read it over and was pleasantly surprised that there was actually a lot of food compared to what I was eating. I was eating less - however, at the same time, I was eating the wrong foods! I decided to forget everything that I thought I knew in the past and just give him 100%. That is the diet portion of his plan.

Then came the training. I did have some strength that I had gained through previous training, I think I actually impressed him for a short period of time. Then he started adding weight. I started to think maybe he thinks I was stronger than I actually am. He knew what he was doing. He knew that I needed to continue to lift heavier. He explained to me that there is no way that I would bulk up like a man - women are not made up to look like men (at least the way he does it - NATURALLY!). We work each muscle group until he has to spot almost every rep of my last set, feels like my muscles are gonna burst! Anthony took the time to teach me a method that improves my workout - it is quite simple too - it just involves THINKING POSITIVE AND VISUALIZING the muscles that are being worked - tighten and relax. It saves a lot of time knowing perfect form and how to isolate the correct muscle.

Now comes my baby steps to tremendous success! I have lost close to 11 pounds and over 5% body fat, inches all over and down a full clothing size in less than 5 weeks! I am starting to think that I may be able to be that sexy lady on the beach with her kids instead of hiding under the umbrella with a large beach cover up. I have a lot more work to do but it is becoming fulfilling and hands down fun. I look forward to my workouts like never before - and I love the pain - it is a constant reminder of my dedication. There are so many women out there who are sadly unhappy with their appearance and just accept it and be a mom. There is no reason why a woman can't get the body she has always dreamed of. It does NOT come in a bottle - and if you found it - you are definitely setting your body
up for some real damage.

If you are worried about finances - which is a major concern for anyone raising a family or supporting themselves - just think about it in a different perspective - how much would it cost to vacation for one week on an island with your friends or to take the family to Disney? Cut that price in half and invest it in yourself, does not sound like too much money anymore - does it? Invest in Anthony and you can teach those guys on Wall Street a great lesson on low risk high return investments! Just do it - good luck!

The transformation that has taken place is one that will last forever. Anthony has changed my life in more ways than imaginable.

I came to Anthony in search of a new lifestyle and a new body. When I was younger, I never attended my high school prom or any of the many formals my school had to offer. I started dieting alone in June 2007 weighing 170lbs. I read several articles and did South Beach to help me lose weight. I dropped 11 pounds in 2 weeks just on South Beach. I said “wow this is easy”. From there, I kept doing the same diet, until I realized it wasn’t working anymore. I decided to add exercise to my daily life style in July 2007. By August 2007 I was weighing 150lbs. However, from there I was never able to lose weight anymore, I doubled my exercise, ate less than 1000 calories a day, and it didn’t work. I knew from my past experience of yoyo dieting I was able to get down to 150lbs but never below that. I was contemplating to myself, maybe this is it for me, there no such thing as being smaller than 150lbs. I read more articles and did some research. I found a few articles on how people reach a plateau and ways to break a plateau. I soon inquired about personal trainers at the gym I attend. I knew weight training was important, but I didn’t realize how important, and how much it would benefit me losing weight.

I mentioned to Anthony during the first week of training my goals in relation to weight and appearance. From there he made my life easier. I go to the gym and he tells me what to do and explains the benefits of the exercise which would help me achieve my goals. It made me feel more comfortable because not only do I have a created image of what I want to look like, but he can also envision it as well. Anthony is also a great nutrition coach. He has definitely helped me improve my diet. He also helps me keep track of what I eat everyday. After 6 weeks working out with Anthony I currently weigh 140 pounds. I didn’t even realize how much of an impact weight training had on me until I recently attended a formal occasion. I had brought a dress with me that I had just wore in September 2007. I tried the dress on 2 hours before the party and it was loose. So loose I had to go to the Hotel help desk, ask for a sewing kit, and take in the dress myself.
