Cardio Doesnt WorkThere’s a reason you don’t see even one piece of cardio equipment in our gym......
We only do the stuff that works! I know it’s a bold statement and some of you will shake your head and say “but cardio is important!” Yes but remember two things 1. Cardio just means keeping your heart rate elevated for a period of time. Heavy and fast weight training sessions will get it pumping just as high as your mediocre spin session 2. Cardio takes hours to burn any real calories. And let’s face it it’s extremely boring and time consuming. Weight training burns calories, builds muscles and increases metabolism all at once. Plus causes you to burn more calories at rest when you are doing nothing. Why would you waste time and energy doing hours of cardio to achieve fat loss when proper weight training and diet will cover all that? |
