And over my 35 years, I am constantly learning what works and what doesn't.
Each year I complied a list of tips on how to get in better shape and the tips get better and better every year. Think of it as a way to download a ton of knowledge really fast!
So with that said here are 35 ways to lose body fat and totally transform your body and health
1 Remember no matter how hard you exercise you can’t outwork a bad diet
2 Not all fitness modalities work the same to transform your body…we have found Incorporating more barbell work with progression does just that
3 Download MyFitnessPal and start tracking EVERYTHING you eat
4 Do full-body workouts 2-5x a week
5 When the workout program calls for 4 sets of 10 that means do 4 HARD sets of 10 reps
6 Try to drink 1 gallon of water per day
7 Calorie-free drinks are safe to drink and have been shown to help keep weight off
8 Higher volume workouts tend to work better
9 Avoid Oil at all cost
10 Whenever cooking anything, use pam spray
11 What has worked best for me and all my clients is having 2 scoops of protein within 30 upon waking up
12 You need more protein than you think
13 If you are having a hard time digesting protein use betaine HCL
14 Vegetables are overrated
15 You need to progress from workout to workout in some capacity (reps, sets, weight, time under tension, total volume, improved form)

1️⃣You aren’t in a calorie deficit because you are sneaking bites, licks, and sips, and you “eat the same thing every day so you don’t need to log it”
These calories add up really fast! Licks, sips, and bites can add up to 300 extra calories every day!
2️⃣You are paralyzed but what the scale says
You let the scale dictate your feelings…if your weight spikes up from water you freak out and then get frustrated and cheat. Then you feel guilty and start again on Monday
3️⃣You care more about “burning more calories doing cardio” than lifting heavyweights
Cardio is very reactive not proactive! Let’s say you get sick and go to the dr
The dr gives you antibiotics to get rid of the cold
That’s what cardio is…the antibiotics

It’s because you don’t eat your fruits and veggies and your immune system is weak!
So weight training is like fruits and veggies! Weight training retains muscle which helps your metabolism and overall body!

4️⃣You are impatient, inconsistent, and “all or nothing”
Sorry to be the one to say it but too many people think if they diet for 1 week they should drop more weight than they think.

When you lose weight at a healthy rate…it’s slow .5-2lbs a week of pure body fat is ideal!
So if you want to lose 20lbs of body fat that would take you 20-40 weeks! 20-40 Weeks of CONSISTENT work!
20-40 Weeks of being 100%! If you comply 50% it would take double the time!

152 Diets! Personal Trainer in Long island talks about which diet is best

152 ᴅɪꜰꜰᴇʀᴇɴᴛ ᴅɪᴇᴛꜱ!!!

Did you know that the average person over their life does 152 different diets!!

That averages out to around 3 per year when you become an adult!

What does this tell us?

It tells us that most people jump from diet to diet looking for a long-term solution.

The problem is most diets are not set up to be a long-term solution!

Do you really think the keto diet was designed to followed for eternity? No!

Sure you can follow it for some time but I promise it’s not sustainable forever! I mean seriously do you think you could never have another slice of pizza again?!
